"SHARPENING THE GAZE" Minor Arcana & Court Figures Workshop In this course, we will delve into the symbolic language of the court figures and the suits. We'll explore their functions within historical context and, as always, from a creative and intuitive perspective, with a focus on the visual aspect. We will navigate through both traditional and contemporary decks, making comparisons to understand what each brings, seeking commonalities and discrepancies. What does the TAROT offer us? The tarot is a journey towards our essence, where self-knowledge takes center stage. This tool invites us to continuously reconsider ourselves, helps us see our virtues as well as our shadows. It allows us to recognize unconscious patterns and guides us toward new directions. It's a great ally in moments of doubt, helping us see things from different points of view. Perspective The workshop's approach is intuitive and reflective – and also predictive, as often one cannot be separated from the other! It provides a loving and inclusive space for exchange and participation. It encourages us to rethink the minor arcana and court figures, which have often been overshadowed by the major arcana and yet hold significant power in card interpretation. Content 8 PDFs, each delivered per class throughout the course. They contain theoretical and visual content (Google Classroom). 8 Live classes that will be recorded and uploaded (YouTube). Optional exercises and practices per class. We'll share readings, exchange opinions, and engage in weekly practice exercises (Optional WhatsApp group). Online Course Coming soon. 8 classes in total. 16 hours of instruction. You can go through the workshop at your own pace; it's not necessary to join the live classes. You can watch them at your convenience, from wherever you want. The content will be uploaded to Google Classroom the day after the class. You can send questions via email, share personal readings through email, or in the WhatsApp group. Prior knowledge of Major Arcana is required as some practice examples will involve the full deck to comprehensively incorporate Tarot. What will we cover? -The 4 suits (swords, wands, pentacles, and cups) and the Court Figures (Page, Knight, Queen, and King) within historical and functional context. -Meaning of the 40 Minor Arcana. -Meaning of the Court Figures: Pages, Knights, Queens, and Kings. -Reading structures & practice.
